Life

A Lucky Gal

Life is about luck.

My friend said: “the biggest lottery that you can win in life is from where you are born”. I was thinking a lot since then. I always believe that I am a very lucky person, but what does luck mean to me?

I was born in a complete and well-off family. Though my family is not rich, it is healthy and comfortable. I never have to worry about not having enough foods and money. My father loves me unconditionally. This is the biggest luck in my life.

Recently I am reading a book “Going Solo”. It said that living alone is a growing trend in contemporary world. One of the reasons is that many children have their own room nowadays, and they are not good to stay with someone else.

For me, I think that having an own space is good, but if I have 2 kids in the future, I prefer them to stay together. It is about the ability to live well with other people, and discovering the joy to link with people. I am very lucky to live with my siblings for long time, so I was not lonely. I am lucky since the day I was born. But I only realise how lucky I am until I live by myself in New Zealand.

I am lucky that I was born in a good family, and I am lucky to discover how lucky I am.

A friend told me: “silly people like you always have luck”. Hahaha, I do not deny that. I think it actually makes sense, because a person with a simpler brain think less, and just do whatever he/she wants without thinking too much. Sometimes luck is for the people who take the move. The more you doubt about it, the more it won’t happen on you. So, just trust it, and do it.

Sometimes, luck is an attitude.

I feel strange when I found that many people blame the life is being unfair to them. Why don’t they compare their life with the people born in poverty? Some people failed miserably, but they have never blame about life and stay happy, isn’t this luck for having a good attitude?

Many things are determined when you are born. But many things in life can change. 🙂

Good luck!
