I received an early birthday present from my very close friend in Malaysia. We have not seen each other for more than a year!
It is a photobook – Inside the book are our precious photos and memories, as well as touching words.
I love it very very much! It reminds me of the good time when I was in Malaysia. I miss the old times when I was surrounded by friends. We always enjoy chatting and doing a lot of stuffs together. The memories kept replaying in my brain.
Two years ago we were innocent girls, promising each other that we will buy a house and stay together if both of us didn’t get married in the future. Two years later I have settled in New Zealand, and you have become a great mother taking care of your husband and baby. Time flies!
Although the life in New Zealand is good, there is a part of my life which has yet to be fulfilled. I miss the companionship that I always had in Malaysia. I miss the old times when we hold our hand together, drinking, and walking in Bukit Bintang. There are thousands of words that I want to say to you, too.
I feel sorry that I did not fulfil my promise because I haven’t come back to Malaysia. I said I will be back in a year time but in the end I didn’t. I really wish I had more time with you. I hope we can create more memories together in my short trip in October.
