Auckland is my first stop in New Zealand. It is a very busy city with a lot of traffic and shops. Many people would first fly to Auckland International Airport in New Zealand. I think it is good to make Auckland your first stop in New Zealand.
I met a girl from Korea in the backpacker’s hostel. She is my first friend in New Zealand and has been very kind and helpful. She cooks for me and bring me to Devonport.
Devonport is about 10 minutes ferry ride from Auckland’s CBD. It is worthwhile to visit if you are in Auckland as it is a beautiful village by the sea. There are a few things to do in Devonport, especially seeing the spectacular Auckland’s view from the top of the hill.
She asked me if I would stay in Auckland with her. I rejected, as I have to move on.
I do not like Auckland personally. I think it is too busy and a bit messy. The good thing about Auckland is that it is very convenient because there are many shops and restaurants. Well, everyone has different opinion 🙂 Although I do not like Auckland, I think Devonport is a nice place to visit if you are in Auckland.
