LEGO Exhibition at Te Papa – Wonders of the world Review

Why visit: To see the world in 1-2 hours! Recommend to those who love to travel (or have kids) 🙂

 
Ben and I visited this LEGO exhibition on Christmas Eve. The exhibition was quite small and crowded but we had a good time because the productions are stunning. So, this post will have more photos than words 🙂

In my opinion, the sinking Titanic above is the most impressive artwork at this exhibition.

For every piece of work, it shows you the information including how many hours it takes to complete. For example, it took 320 hours to build the Red Square and 240 hours to build the sinking Titanic.

The most interesting thing is the details put into their works. If you look closely you can see the details for many of the artworks, e.g. human and small items.

It is a bit expensive ($19.50 for one adult) for such a very small exhibition but given the amount of effort that they have put into the artwork, it is worth it. And it is fun.

The only downside is that there are too many kids and sometimes it is a bit noisy. I think it will be better for us to come on an Adult-only night on 16 Jan (Tuesday). There were also a few Adult-only nights in December but we missed them.

We end up spending almost 2 hours here. Ben said we have already travelled around the world by visiting this LEGO exhibition at Te Papa 😡. I told him the LEGO doesn’t count so one day we will really visit all these places! Anyway, I would recommend this to those who love to travel 🙂
