Queenstown is a place for tourists. It is a busy and commercial city. In New Zealand, most of the shops close at 5 – 5.30pm, but the shops in Queenstown open till late night. Queenstown is extremely busy during winter time as it is popular for skiing activities and sports.

Queenstown in the daytime
The most popular food in Queenstown is Fergburger! There is forever a long queue in the shop. Once I placed an order, I have to wait for at least for 15 to 20 minutes during non-peak hours. During peak hours, I have to wait for more than an hour! The burger is delicious and filling, but I don’t like the queue >.<
The Fergburger is much bigger than my hand!
I spent most of my time in Queenstown Garden. It is not a big garden and nothing too special here. I sat down quietly and look at the autumn leaves. I like the autumn feel here. I used to think that the autumn is a sad season because leaves are dying. Now I think that it is a natural process to get ready for a new life. The falling is temporary as it is waiting to reborn at the right time.
I think the autumn leafs are beautiful..
Sitting here and thinking about the future…
Then, I had a great SHOPPING time in Queenstown. The items are generally more expensive in Queenstown, mainly target at ignorant tourists (such as me! 😛 ). Nevertheless I think it is a more concentrated place with a lot of souvenir shops and choices. I bought some skin caring products. Well, every female must take care of her skin when she is young, right!? 😀
I have visited Queenstown twice. I don’t think I would come if I am not taking a flight departing from here. It doesn’t mean that I don’t like Queenstown, but I prefer to travel in a ‘not-so-commercial’ place. Queenstown has its beauty and uniqueness but it is not a place for me.
