My Small Stories in New Zealand

Leaving again

Today I met a friend who is leaving Wellington.

Since I came to New Zealand, I have experienced the leaving of more than 10 friends, one after another. It takes some time to turn a stranger to a close friend. And it might take forever to keep up the friendship.

I told my friend: “The last person to leave is the most pity person”. And I didn’t expect that I will be the last; it is unacceptable! >.< New Zealand is everything good, except the loneliness.

My friend and I went to Parliament Building and Wellington Museum. It is 150th years anniversary in Wellington as New Zealand’s capital city, so it is very lively. I still remember that when I first came to Wellington, I hate this place. It took about a year for me to fall in love with Wellington, for many reasons.

A rat!?

Reading the history of Wellington makes me headache. I am terrible in history.

I still love Wellington. We talked about the past. Almost three years in New Zealand.

Looking at my old post about my friend (exactly 1 year ago, such a coincidence!), and watching the video that I made for her, the old memories fill my mind again. The video made me laugh and, emotional. Although I always said that Wellington is very quiet and I did not have much story here, but actually there were a lot of precious memories.

Wellington is a place where I learnt to be independent and started this blog. It is a cute capital city, though I am alone again! Anyway I want to enjoy as much as possible while I am here 🙂
